SINS

Svajonė and Paulius Stanikas present their newest project Sins at the Jonas Mekas Visual Arts Center in Vilnius.

But where sin increased, grace increased all the more (Romans 5:20)

May those who say the opposite, that is, those who deny their salvation, tell us with what bodies the daughter of the high priest and the widow’s son brought dead to the gates of the city, and Lazarus, who remained in a grave for four days be resurrected?

Of course, with the same ones in which they died, since if not with the same bodies, clearly not the same ones who died will be resurrected. But, in fact, the Holy Scripture says that “The Lord took the dead man by his hand and said,”Young man, I say to you: arise,” and the dead man sat up, and Jesus commanded that he be brought food, and returned him to his mother.”

Also, the Lord Jesus called out to Lazarus in a powerful voice, saying, “Come out,” and the dead man came out. His arms and legs were still bound with strips of linen and a cloth around his face. This is the symbol of a man who has been tied by sins. And that is why the Lord says, “Unbind him and let him go.”
