March 3. Georgia: Near and Far.  Screening at the Ministry of Fluxus of Director Orest Todua’s film and Georgia as seen through the eyes of photographer Marius Abramavicius (Neboisia).

March 23 – 30. JMVAC participated in the international film festival Spring of Films (Kino pavasaris).


April 7 – May 14. Three Stories. A solo exhibition by photographer Audrone Vaupsiene at the JMVAC curated by Simon Rees.

June 11 – September 1. In Memory of those Sacrificed for Post-Modernism: Gintaras Znamierovski/Donatas Srogis. Conceptualism 1988-1995.?????


May 4 – 9. Legendary filmmaker Jonas Mekas was on hand for a special program of his works in Tbilisi, Georgia for fans of non-commercial cinema. The event was hosted by the JMVAC and the Embassy of Lithuania in Georgia.


May 10 – August 31. Summer with Jonas Mekas.  JMVAC film project screened at the Ministry of Fluxus (27 Gediminas Ave., Vilnius) at the eMekas Cinema space.

September 11 – November 15. Jansas TV. The JMVAC presented works by Evaldas Jansas about Lithuania’s interdisciplinary art. Jansas is one of the best known contemporary artists in Lithuania.

March 25 – April 23. Pictures of George. An exhibition of photos of George Maciunas by Peter Moore at the Paula Cooper Gallery in New York.
